Join the Davis Tennis Club!

DTC is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging tennis participation at all ages and ability levels. We sponsor instructional, social, and team-based programs that are open to everyone in the community.

Membership Options

Membership dues cover the calendar year and are not prorated:

  • Full Membership:
    • Individual: $40
    • Family: $60
  • Associate Membership:(for members of Woodland Tennis Club)
    • Individual: $20
    • Family: $30
    • Reciprocity Agreement: If you are a member of the Woodland Tennis Club, you can join the DTC for half the price and participate in interclub league matches in Davis!

To join or renew your membership, there are two simple steps:

Benefits of Joining the Davis Tennis Club

  • Tennis Socials: Enjoy friendly intraclub play organized by DTC volunteers. These events are a great way to meet new players and have fun on the court.
  • DTC Facebook Group: Join our private Davis Tennis Club Players group to connect with other club members, arrange matches, and find tennis partners.
  • League Play Opportunities: The DTC insures and reserves courts for SATA and USTA league matches. We also offer support to team captains, ensuring your league experience runs smoothly.
  • Lessons & Clinics: Take advantage of lessons and clinics with our USPTA-certified professional instructors, tailored for all skill levels.
  • Youth Programming: Access tennis programming for youth through the Davis Tennis Academy, helping to introduce and develop young players in our community.
  • Membership News & Updates: Stay informed with membership lists and newsletters, which are emailed several times a year.
  • Reciprocal Discounted Associate Membership: Enjoy a discounted membership with the Woodland Tennis Club, thanks to our reciprocal agreement.
  • Access to Davis Senior High School Court Complex: Through our unique agreement with the Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD) and the City of Davis, DTC members have access to the 12 courts at the Davis Senior High School when not in use by the school. We also maintain and advocate for these courts, ensuring they are cleaned, nets and windscreens are replaced, and squeegees are available for rainy season use.
  • Tennis Advocacy: The DTC works closely with the City of Davis and DJUSD to ensure that courts are properly maintained, equipment is replaced when necessary, and the community continues to have access to public courts. We have historically advocated for funding to renovate the 2-court complexes, reconstruct the Walnut Park courts, and balance court usage with the growing demand for pickleball facilities.

Clubhouse

About the Clubhouse

In 2011-2012, a dedicated group of Davis Tennis Club volunteers worked tirelessly to negotiate an agreement with the City of Davis and the Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD) to refurbish a building for use as the DTC Clubhouse. This effort has provided the club with a space for social events and gatherings, further strengthening our community.

Clubhouse Use

DTC members may reserve the clubhouse for club-related social events, such as interclub lunches or meetings. All reservations must be approved by the DTC in advance.

Clubhouse Rules:

  • Users are required to follow the DTC Clubhouse Rules
  • All spaces must be cleaned after use, and all trash should be properly disposed of.
  • Perishable items and alcohol must not be left in the clubhouse.
