Davis Tennis Club announces a new 4-year agreement with DJUSD for use of the 8 newly resurfaced courts at Davis Senior High School (14th Street).
The courts will remain open to the public at no cost, with DTC retaining privileges to reserve courts for leagues, socials, and coaching.
Membership dues are crucial in supporting our operational budget and ensuring we fulfill our commitments under the agreement with DJUSD.
Many thanks to our President, Joanne Brennan, and the Board for the success of this agreement which ensures free tennis court access for all tennis players in Davis!

As of early 2025, the Davis Tennis Club anticipates that the Davis Joint Unified School District (DJUSD) will rebuild the four missing courts at Davis Senior High School (DSHS), restoring the total court count to the original twelve (from the current eight). The DTC is optimistic that construction of the remaining courts will proceed promptly after the completion of the high school pool. The renumbering of the courts is still pending. (See diagram of DSHS tennis complex)

The City of Davis is aware of the ongoing issues with the lighting at Walnut Park Courts. There are plans to prioritize the conversion of these lights to energy-efficient LEDs, with the work expected to begin in 2025.

We hope this presents information about the club and our activities in a more streamlined way for our tennis enthusiasts in Davis! We hope to provide more features in the coming months! We welcome feedback and suggestions – email web@davistennisclub.org!
